Liminal Space Arts Ltd was founded by Matthew Sparkes and Tineke Ann Robson.
Matt Sparkes is the co-founder of Liminal Space Arts and is an improviser, actor, teacher and teacher trainer.
Matt has trained in improvised theatre and acting in the UK with Hoopla, The Nursery, C3 Something, The Maydays, Colleen Doyle (iO Theater), David Razowsky, Mick Barnfather, Frank Totino, Holly Mandel (The Groundlings), Will Luera (Big Bang), Showstoppers, Dan Seyfried (La Carpe Haute), Lee Simpson (Improbables), Steve Jarand, Mario Muller, Alex Berg (UCB), Trent Pancy, Neil Curran, Todd Fasen (UCB), Patti Stiles, Rachael Mason, Susan Messing (iO Theater), Sarah Victoria (PEM), Dannie-Lu Carr (Meisner), Lawrence Carmichael (Cockpit Theatre) and Bradley Taylor (Central St. Martins).
Matt has written and directed several student drama productions and is one half of the performance duo Familiar Strangers.
Professionally Matt has taught for International Schools in Asia for over 10 years. He has been a pub landlord for a London Brewery and assisted in rehabilitation for people with brain injuries. He has also served as a Samaritans volunteer and bereavement counsellor. He has a university degree in psychology and is a keen observer of human life and behaviour. Matt has also lived and worked in Mexico and France and is currently based in London.
Tineke Ann Robson is the co-founder of Liminal Space Arts.
As a 9 year old she had her first stage experience in Annie Get Your Gun and has never stopped loving theatre and acting in any form.
Tineke attended the Meisner Actor Studio by Paul Dekker after having graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts at Fontys Dance Academy as dancer, singer and actress, in the Netherlands.
Her work as choreographer, singer, dancer and actress has been seen in a wide variety of shows in The Netherlands, New Zealand and London.
She is a teacher and coach for both actors and non-actors - teaching Connection through Improv, Movement and Dance, Her directing skills are outstanding and come from years of experience working with a wide variety of actors and non-actors. She has directed theatre plays and on screen performances.
She is the other half of improv duo Familiar Strangers.
Last year she has been working on 2 big feature film productions at the Warner Brothers Studios. One of them is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Justice League coming out in November 2017.
Short film Tooth Fairy where she plays the Queen of Tooth fairies has been successful in Film Festivals, nominated and won multiple prices.
